I would like to thank everyone for yet another awesome year. Shred shed will be closed between Monday December 22 - January 13thish. 2025 was a big year with the move to the new shop! May you all have happy holidays and enjoy the rest of the never ending riding season. See you all in 2026 Well that's some contrast. Last week hero dirt, this week snow. For those of you who are thinking about putting the bike away for some seasonally appropriate activities, now is the perfect time to take your bike to shred shed for some love. For the rest of you who ride all year rock on! The city of Kelowna has blessed us with 2 new trails at Knox. Thanks to all of the wonderful volunteers who showed up this morning to buff them up. Make sure to wait until the trails are open before trying the out as the dirt has to pack in. @mtbco.ca Shred shed will be closed from October 8th till the 18th Hand built wheels by shred shed are built to withstand even your worst cases. Here @nathandobson tests the strength of his few year old Dt Swiss 511 on the wrong side of the therapist road gap landing at gillard. Wheel is still straight as can be. He cleaned it up for lap 2 Thanks to all the volunteers that showed up to the @mtbco.ca trail day at gillard. Even with the warm weather the crew was motivated and we got a ton done. At the end of the 2024 season I mentioned big changes happening for 2025... Well here it is, I have become the Okanagans leading recumbent dealer and service center. Selling top brands like Bike-E. Whether you are looking at a new ride to tame the rough trails in town or just looking for a lawn chair adjustment the shred shed has everything you need to keep you recumbenting Shout out to all the volunteers that showed up to the first Mtbco trail day of the season! Every group got a lot done and the trails are running better than ever! Spring is in the air. Don't let your roached bike be a damper on enjoying the early season riding conditions.
